Meet the team – Josh, Support Agent
Josh is one of our Support Agents, who work with our clients to help keep their websites secure, updated and accessible. When one of our clients wants advice on using extensions, needs a problem solved or just has a question about e-commerce, Josh is the person to help.
What does your typical day look like?
“My day is a busy one, with lots of calls with clients, support tickets to complete and ongoing projects such as new website builds to work on. With all this going on, it’s essential that the support team works together to make sure we keep on track when working on the various tasks. I work hard to answer any questions our clients have and like to advise them when we find or develop a new or updated extension that we feel will add value and extra benefits to our websites”.
What else do you do?
“I mix fielding calls from clients with working on ongoing projects, such as updating websites, investigating new extensions and solving issues that may require some more extensive term effort. On occasion, I have to liaise with outside companies that provide us with different services, and this means I have to communicate with the rest of the support team to make sure we are getting the right results and information from the people we work with to ensure we can complete our tasks”.
What motivates you day-to-day?
“I’ve been with Liquidshop for just over a year, and have seen lots of exciting changes to e-commerce and web development just in that relatively short time. The new extensions being developed, and the improvements they have made to our client’s websites, help keep things fresh on a day-to-day basis”.
What do you do outside of work?
“Away from the office, I’m really into buying and building cars. I spend a lot of weekends attending car shows, and can’t wait for the summer when I can take my new car out for a spin in the sun!” I also like gaming on my PC, so suffice to say I spend a lot of time on computers”.
