Will this mean any additional work for me?
The mobile website is largely cosmetic change to the existing LiquidShop system for mobile devices, rather than being a completely separate platform. This means that you won't need to maintain two websites, the content will simply adapt to meet the capabilities of the browser.
This approach has the advantage of ensuring that all changes made to your LiquidShop will be instantly applied to the mobile version, as they are the same site. This ensures that page URLs are identical between both mobile and standard versions.
-
How will mobile payments be taken?
Due to its ease of use and high quality mobile functionality, the sole payment provider for the mobile LiquidShop interface will be PayPal. Therefore a PayPal account is a requirement in order for the interface to be enabled.
-
Are there any additional costs involved?
We are providing LiquidShop Mobile as part of the LiquidShop package as an effective mobile interface is becoming an essential aspect of the ecommerce industry.
-
Can I edit the content that's presented on the mobile storefront?
Your mobile storefront will present the same products as your LiquidShop, all customer accounts, categorisation and other aspects will remain as they are effectively the same site.
You are able to define your mobile navigation via the 'mobile' section in the backoffice, which allows you to choose which categories are highlighted on the mobile storefront.
-
Will customers be able to add a link to my mobile site to their phone?
Your customers will be able to bookmark your site using their phones built in functionality.
We will provide a bookmark icon for systems that make use of this, such as iPhones which will display the Apple Touch Icon, if a user chooses to add your website to their 'home Screen'.
